This is a male marine toad.It holds it's breath when it is being attacked so that it can bulge up. It bulges up so that it can't be swallowed and it's urine is poisonous.

It is called a milk-snake because farmers used to think that this snake would come into their barn for the cows milk.It is not poisonous but many confuse the milk-snake for another snake that is poisonous so people kill them. This snake comes from Honduras.
